Certification Program

Certification Program
The Certification Program at A Hand to Help Home Care is our way of investing in caregivers who want to build a lasting career, not just clock in and out. We combine structured training with CNA course reimbursement opportunities so you can grow your skills, increase your earning potential, and bring even higher-quality care to the clients you serve.

Your journey begins with agency-led education guided by our Registered Nurse team. You'll learn the essentials of professional home care: personal care techniques, safe transfers, infection control, privacy and confidentiality, beneficiary rights, proper documentation, and recognizing signs of abuse, neglect, or medical decline. Training includes practical demonstrations, skills checklists, and written materials you can refer back to on the job.

As you build experience and demonstrate reliability, you may qualify for CNA course reimbursement. This support helps you pursue state-approved CNA training without carrying the full tuition cost on your own. For many of our staff, this has been the key step from entry-level caregiving into a licensed role that opens doors in home care, hospitals, and long-term care settings.

Throughout the process, we're not just checking boxes; we're mentoring you. Supervisors and nurses are available to answer questions, review challenging cases, and help you apply what you've learned with real clients. As your skills and credentials grow, you become eligible for more complex assignments and additional responsibility.

For individuals who feel called to care for others, our Certification Program turns that calling into a clear path forward - supporting you from your first day in the field to your next professional milestone, while ensuring our clients receive care from trained, confident caregivers they can trust.
